The neighbourhood committee is delighted to present the second edition of its Eco-Citizen Day, organised in the Mesnils Pasteur neighbourhood as part of the ‘Estivales’ festival.
It will take place on Friday 10 July 2025 at Le Petit Bois (Avenue du Maréchal Foch) and will bring to a close the ‘Police/Youth Meet-up’ week organised by Loisirs Populaires Dolois
With a focus on games and entertainment, this event will offer activities from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm for young and old alike, raising awareness of issues relating to water and urban cleanliness.
The organisations taking part will cover all aspects of water, including its cycle, conservation, distribution to our homes, and even its protection in our rivers and the ecosystems they support.
Urban cleanliness will also take centre stage, with a large-scale, participatory site clean-up, games and races to raise awareness of best practices and community spirit.
For those looking for a quieter experience, a reading corner will be set up with story times for young children twice a day, and creative workshops will be on offer.
For the more energetic, cycle routes will be organised, supervised by the National Police and Loisirs Populaires Dolois as part of Police/Youth Week. These 6km tours will take participants to the Etang des Etroitots for a nature walk and to the River Doubs to discover the varied roles of Voies Navigables de France, culminating in a special tour of a lock.
Other games and surprises await you on the day, including shows, fruit skewers and a revamped version of the duck fishing game…
We look forward to seeing you there to make the most of all the activities on offer.
Entry is free, with refreshments and food available on site, organised by the Maryse Bastié Secondary School Parents’ Association and local residents.
We look forward to seeing lots of you there!
