The Besançon International Music Festival is coming to Dole for an exceptional concert featuring the Romain Leleu Sextet.
For nearly fifteen years, trumpeter Romain Leleu has been reinterpreting the classical repertoire with his sextet, infusing it with a highly refined jazz flavour and effortlessly transcending the boundaries of styles and eras. This new programme promises spellbinding atmospheres through an alchemy of sounds celebrating the night, with works inspired by *The Thousand and One Nights*. It will feature soothing and romantic moments, ranging from Mozart to Dizzy Gillespie, via Schubert, Nino Rota and Darius Milhaud, not to mention two short pieces by Régis Campo specially reworked for the occasion, serving as the grand finale to his intense residency with the Festival.
