This tour highlights the historical links between the vineyards, heritage and wine policy in the Jura of the Dukes of Burgundy during the 15th century, when Dole was the capital of the Palatinate, a possession of the Dukes of Valois.
This city tour will take in the sites and works of art associated with this period, as well as the presence of vineyards in Dole.
The wine tasting is a ‘blind’ tasting using the ‘Nez du Vin’ method.
The tour is led by a nationally accredited tour guide, a graduate of the University of Burgundy and the Institut des Vins.
